How i wrote a letter to my friend Sameeksha..

I know, to many of you the topic may seem silly( as my blog),  and to the rest of you
it may seem wierd. So true. Who writes a letter these days any way. And the whats the whole point of
Writing a letter when we have mobile, email, and what not.

Every thing in the commmunication today, has been missing its charm.
The world today is moving on such a fast pace that, What ever we are supoosed to communicate in a
relationship perspective is happening instantly.
We make friends on the go, we fight, we hate, we meet new people, the whole definition of Friendship or a relation is changed.
We are not prepared to give enough time for a relation to grow stronger or more precisely to be firm.

I thought about the older times when we wrote letters to each other, and patiently waited for the reply.
The Post was so much reliable then( Its reliable even today, But we aren't patient enough ).
All i figured out was, instead of making a call to the friends i miss, and with whom i have shared a part of my life,
i could preserve my friendship by writing letter.

In this way, we could remain in loop waiting for each others response, and what response we could get, and make each other feel special.

Writing a letter is an Art. It takes a State of mind and some Quality time to be dediacted to the person you choose to write to.The huge sence of anticipation of weather or not getting a reply, is an awesome feeling.

While I am as active as anyone on social networks like Facebook or twitter or whatsapp or texting for that matter,and love being able to keep up with my friends’ news so much more easily and immediately now,
it still makes me a little sad to realise that the sense of anticipation I loved so much has been lost somewhat.
Now when something happens you find out about it right away. Thats really great, but just imagine,
 A How are you?  Hope you are fine ? to I miss you , hope to see you in near future letter, gives a
 great touch to the relation.

 I am sure, i made my point.  Go take out some time and write a letter to your parents, or your old neighbour , a hostel friend, your grandma, or why not your sibling.

When i start loosing grip....

The only thought of going back home makes me bubble with joy.
There are millions of memories attached to every thing at my home.
Home is a place where you find yourself.
You have you favorite spot, a favorite coffee mug, a favorite room,
a favorite book you stick to like a bug, and the awesome secure feeling of being what you have been from years.

My home is a small little place where I find peace.

Where i don't need to struggle to sleep,

Where i get worlds yummiest food,

Where i can make unending phone calls,

where i can scream at the top of my voice,

where i can see TV like i am the owner,

Where i can wear any crazy outfit,

Where, it's ok if i don't comb,

Where, I can be myself.

Its been 4 Years I have been away from my home.
I visit , When i feel i am not "OKAY".
When i feel i really need a change, and when i feel i need to reset my settings.

As i said, My home is a place where i get peace of mind, and which teaches me "How to be myself"...


I am lucky to have you my "Home Sweet Home".....

Shades of my life...

In this fast paced life , we usually hang up with a bunch of colleagues.
Its them with whom we spend  maximum amount of time of our day.
Its them who know us, our mistakes, our behavior, our work strategy,
if our luck is good, we find a good friend in them. A team member, a Colleague Could be a good friend, (i know it hardly happens).

When one of my very close friend/colleague decided to resign , i was shaken.
Eventually i found out it was hard for me because firstly i was a freshbie, and she was like a guide to me.
a role model i could say. I had almost adapted her style of working( You learn from people around you).

When i discussed about this to many of my friends, they said , it happens, this is life, this is how you learn,
Stop getting connected to people, stop getting involved with colleagues, forget it, move on, oh ! come-on don't be an emo now  and blah balh..... All i know is i miss her.

My question is , is this what we are taught about living a life. Are we supposed to be on our own always?
Is life about not being connected with people around us?
And more over Why do we meet people, if we are not meant to be with them.

Such a childish question i know!

But i am still in search for the answer.....

Accha lagta hai, Jab kisi ke khushi ki wajah hum ban jate hai, 

Accha lagta hai, Jab koi jate jate phir se mood kar hume dekhta hai, 

Accha lagta hai, Jab koi apna Hum par haq jatata hai, 

Accha lagta hai, Jab koi Dil se sacchi dua deta hai, 

Accha lagta hai, Jab koi tumse pyaar karta hai .....
